This past Saturday 29 November CineFlite was in the skies over Rye in Sussex filming scenes from the upcoming new period crime biopic The Fall of the Krays. The film is the sequel to The Rise of Krays, both films being shot back-to-back, and telling the rise and fall of the notoriously violent 1960s criminal brothers, the Krays. With unseasonably clear skies, sunshine and low wind for late November offering ideal flying conditions, we were able to capture some great shots of the action on Pett Beach coastline and nearby Camber Castle.
It was a great fun working with the cast and crew, and being part of the celebrations on what was the last day of filming following a gruelling eight weeks of production. We also had the pleasure of working closely with a really talented team including director Zackary Adler, and producer Craig Tuohy (both pictured above), as well as cinematographer Luke Palmer, who have made what looks to be an amazing pair of films.
The Rise of the Krays is scheduled for UK release in May 2015 with The Fall of the Krays following sometime afterwards.
